gaming

my most played genre of games are first-person shooters, but i sometimes branch out to other types.

currently playing:

game playtime thoughts
518 hours playing the same game for 500 hours definitely makes it a little boring but its still fun to play an hour or two every now and then
31 hours otxo is very good. scratches that hotline miami itch that ive had since finishing both of those games like 3 times
53 hours probably my favourite platformer of all time, but i forgot so save my progress before exiting and because the game is super hard i am now on a temporary hiatus

waiting for:

thankfully i got onto the stalker train pretty late, so i didnt need to wait 12 years for the game to come out. but anyway ive been excited for this since i realised this existed. so far this is the only game that ive ordered some kind of collecter's edition for. i played the first games in 2023, and i really liked them but obviously they were extremely unpolished and buggy. i was lucky enough to not get any crashes, but the characters in the game look so unhuman for something made in 2007. the third game was my favourite, but the shortest. it had better quest design which more emphasized the 'immersive sim' part of the games, with multiple solutions to each problem. so basically ive been waiting for a more polished stalker since ive played those, and the journalists that played some of the unfinished game seem to think that it's pretty good.
